EVENT DETAILS
2025 will mark the 17th year of the Triple Crown Virginia State Championships! Thanks to our loyal teams in the Region and the support from our friends at Visit Williamsburg, this event has grown exponentially over the years. In 2025, we will continue offering D1& D2 opportunities in select age groups for more teams to participate! This has become one of, if not the largest baseball tournaments in the State of Virginia; a "Can't Miss" event! The event is open to all Eastern Region teams (Meaning teams from MD/NC can participate). What are you waiting for!? Spots are limited, register or pencil today! This event will sell out.
Event Format: 3-Game Guarantee: 2 pool play games into bracket play.
(Teams will be divided into a Championship or Consolation bracket based on their seed after pool play games) Teams will have the option to play 1 pool game on Friday (1st come first serve) in order to visit area attractions. Details:
Awards: 1st place team will receive a team award & 15 individual awards, 2nd place will receive a team award & 15 individual awards. No 3rd place or consolation bracket awards. Age Cutoff Date: May 1 Important Information: Teams must submit your roster online and have all parent signatures completed by Sunday June 1st at 8pm EST. Each team must carry a packet of birth certificates throughout the tournament. Teams are to provide their own baseballs. Bring two new baseballs and one used baseball to each game. You will get your baseballs back after games. Baseballs need to be NFHS certified or approved by umpires prior to the start of the game. Lodging Policy: This is a Stay to Play event. Teams are required to stay with one of Triple Crown's lodging partners for a minimum of 10 room nights. If you are within 75 miles from Williamsburg, you are considered local and there is no requirement. If you are outside of 75 miles and choose to stay in alternative lodging, there will be a $350 surcharge. Game Times Available: No later than Monday, June 2, 2025, after 6 p.m. ET ITINERARYEvent Format: 3-Game Guarantee. Two pool games into a single elimination. Friday, June 6th - We have reserved fields for Friday afternoon and evening. If teams are interested in playing on Friday and perhaps visiting area attractions. (Busch Gardens/Colonial Williamsburg/Peninsula Pilots Baseball to name a few) We have made arrangements for this. (Teams will not be forced to play Friday) This is voluntary only. Saturday, June 7th - Up to 2 pool games. (Depending if you play or do not play 1 on Friday) Games will begin at 8am and will start no later than 8pm (weather permitting) Sunday, June 8th - Teams will be divided up into Championship and Consolation brackets. FAQDOES BEING PENCILED IN GUARANTEE A SPOT?
No, being penciled-in shows that your team is interested in attending. Only a paid registration in full guarantees your spot into the event. HOW DO WE COMPLETE THE ONLINE DIGITAL ROSTER? Whomever has access to your team's Triple Crown Account can log in and click on the roster tab. Add all the players names and birthdates with the parent contact information (name, number and email). Once the roster is complete, click the “Send Parent Authorization” button and it will send out the digital waivers to the parents to sign allowing their son/daughter to participate in the event. Any player that does not have the parent waiver signed, will not be allowed to participate. DO YOU ALLOW FOR PARTIAL PAYMENTS (A DEPOSIT)? Triple Crown only accepts full payment to guarantee your team's spot into the event. WHAT IS REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE? Virginia State Championship is open to all teams and does not require qualification. A paid registration in full and completed online digital roster (no paper rosters). This is not a "stay to play" event, however we have partnered with a number of area hotels. We recommend utilizing these hotels that offer special rates and team blocks. DO WE NEED TO PAY UMPIRES AT THE PLATE? No, umpires are including in the team tournament entry fee. 
REFUND POLICYA 20% non-refundable administration fee will be charged on all registrations. There are no refunds or transfers if brackets have been posted, your age division is sold out or if a team cancels 10 or fewer days prior to the start of the event. Otherwise, if a team cancels 11 days or more prior to the event start date, they may transfer the registration to another Triple Crown Baseball headquartered event for full value or receive a refund via check minus the 20% administration fee. If an age division does not make you will be entitled to a full refund. Act of God Refund Policy If an event is lost due to weather or any Act of God (i.e. COVID-19), the entry fee will be refunded via check minus the 20% administration fee. If one game is played you will receive 50% of entry fee. If two or more games are played there is no refund. CONTACT
